Sweet night :)

We have some extra snacks to enjoy tonight

Alice bought 12 macaroons from Sweetspot. They are utterly sweet. I think the chocolate flavour is the best of all.

2 cans of chocolate

Garlic toasts

these are the girls i live and work with.

our night is not really sweet when we got an email from our boss.

I'm thinking

I'm thinking about :

  • getting a new camera
  • travelling alone
  • renting a cozy place to stay
  • move to a place where nobody know me
  • vanilla + peanut butter ice cream sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips
  • sushi and salmon
  • flowers to brighten my day

sharing is caring

Believe it or not, I had not eaten any Doritos since I came back from the States. To recall back, I used to munch them almost everyday. That was why I gained so much weight :)

I was doing grocery shopping in Fairprice this morning. The Doritos was displayed nicely on the shelves and I could hear them calling my name. They are not that expensive in Singapore.

So, I bought one pack and shared it with my friends. It's so much tastier that way than eating it alone.

Cheers.

Swing

In this very moment, I feel like sitting on a swing and let my mind wanders away.

fuck...what is wrong with me.

Darn it

Gee, I didn't know this situation could be so depressing.

I was really looking forward for this day off from work. I had everything planned out. Where to go, what to buy, who to meet.

Now, my colleague is sick and I offered to replace her. Woosh~~~ there goes all my hopes and dreams for today.

I wanted to be nice but I can't help having all these thought of disappointments in my head.

Sigh.

I got a Pumbaa

Dicky received a The Lion King collectible voucher from a patron. He promised to give it to me. So, I have a new friend, Pumbaa.

How is everything here so far? I'm trying my best to hang in there, stay cheerful and blend in with my colleagues. There are moments where I feel completely lonely and different. I do wish my friends and family were here with me. I miss mamak food and asam laksa.

I just have to say that being in this situation is like pretending to be somebody I am not.

Well, just enjoy my short time in Singapore. There are many fun and happy reasons for me to stay here.

Cheers.

Alice's Birthday

On one fine Monday morning, Pik Geok and I woke up early to have breakfast.

But she couldn't take off her eyes from her Blackberry

I miss having toast and half boiled egg.

We saw a lady with a cute dog on the way back.
During the night time, we made some preparation to surprise Alice for her birthday. I think it worked.

Famous Amos cookie cake. Two thumbs up!!!
I wonder what she wish for...
Mini Donuts
Chicken and sausages from Cold Storage Specialty

Pizza bread

Good night! I m feeling pretty tired.

A day of work-free

Still listening to Need You Now by Lady Antebellum

Hello everyone!! How is your weekend going so far? I've been requesting a day off on a Saturday and I got one :) I ventured Singapore a little and this is just the beginning.

First of all, I have been longing to meet up with Shih Mei and Victor. I miss them a lot. Initially, I have some problem going to City Hall to meet them. God knows how did I walked from Marina Bay Sands to Esplanade Mall to Marina Square to Suntec City and finally, to City Hall. Did I mention by walking? Awesome right!

With the big dai lou. His led me to the destination by phone, Shih Mei was so hopeless when it comes to giving direction.

After that, I went to Orchard Road alone. I wanted to do some window shopping. Well, I purchased something so, it's not counted as window shopping. Seriously, people is everywhere in the streets of Singapore. What amaze me is that walking alone here isn't that bad at all. I feel so secure. I didn't even bother to hug my bad tightly because the chances of snatch theft is so low.

Found a big shoe made out of flowers at Ion Orchard.

I wonder why do people have to queue up to get into Louis Vuitton.

I took a bus back to the condominium. It was a good ride home because there are many buildings and people to see along the way.

I decorated my ez link with a sticker I got by donating to a St. John girl.

I came back with empty stomach, so I cooked instant noodle. Besides, I secretly took picture of Jun Yi while he was doing his homework.

Alright, that's all for today as I have work tomorrow.

Cheers.

SweetSpot

Random things make me happy from time to time. Yesterday, there was this nice lady which I met and spoke to her less than 5 second and she bought me a box of chocolate from SweetSpot. It's a pastry place in Marina Bay Sands. It makes me believe that there are SWEET people in the world. One day I would give back as well.

Cheers.

F**kin' Perfect

Good morning world!!! It's a beautiful cloudy day in Singapore. My life is pretty routine lately.

Wake up at 8am in the morning
Make my tea
Switch on my computer
Check out Facebook, chat, blog a little
Cook my breakfast. Always oatmeal because its quick and healthy
Take a shower and put on make up
Get ready to work
Meet people from various country
Come back home
and last but not least, sleep.

I am going to let this routine run for another one month and a half more but it's okay. I know I can do it. As much as I don't like the management but I love the nature of my job. I like to meet people from different walks of lives. They always tell me stories and I am ready to listen. There are many friendly and nice people out there. However, there are also a handful that is difficult to handle. That's alright, those can't slow me down.

Cheers.

Hey Singapore! I got here again

I made an unexpected decision by coming back to Singapore. This time round, I am going to stay longer, maybe for a couple of months. I knew I need to get out of KL, or to be exact, I wanted to get out of my comfort zone. So, here is my chance.

I invested in a portable modem so I could access to Internet easily.

I met an Asian living statue.
