No more 11th hour

Listening to Hotel Room, Pitbull
Hey World!!! exam is real near. I can hear them crawling slowly in my ears. This semester's plan is no last minute preparation. I don't know how I am going to do it but I think that's the right way. Since we were young our teachers taught us not to do things at the 11th hour. I never listen. Those who know me may recognised my style. I always study one or two day(s) before the paper, walk into the exam hall quietly, write my answers and try not to discuss about that paper with anyone. The stress is too great to handle.. So, I want to do it differently now.

Try not to tempt me with shoppings, movies, clubbings, mamak-ing or any other outings untill 18th September ya. Especially you, Mei Ling!! And don't even think about playing dirty like how you did to get me out of my study to accompanied you for Lai Yee's family dinner back in January examination. I still remember you lied to me that Lai Yee need a serious heart-to-heart talk. When I got there, I found out it was a scam. You exploited my compassion..Sob sob.. It won't happen twice..hehe

The only event that I will be truly part of is Cherry's belated birthday celebration on 5th September. An exception..

All the best to people who are in the same boat as me.

Cheers!!

I got a morning call

Ron called at 5.55am and say something like this "Hey Anna, get up, time to jog". I take a deep breath, say ok and wake up. Amazingly, I was all energetic to release some endorphins.

I put on my lonely running shoe and walked to the LRT Station. The streets was quite empty and quiet, I guess maybe our Malay friends are having their meal before fasting for the whole day. Waited at KLCC station for Shih Mei and Ron as the come from Wangsa Maju. So, we planned to jog around the park next to KLCC. Let's do it!!

I haven't been doing any jogging for quite sometime. Maybe a year or two. Surprisingly, my performance for today isn't that bad at all. At least I didn't faint. So proud of myself. We jogged for about 5 to 6 rounds. And yeah.. I don't feel thinner but I do feel good. Attributed to the power of endorphins. Hmm.. I mentioned about endorphin a lot because I did a presentation on this during Diploma.

As the sun is rising. Seriously, I still can't believe the lazy me would agreed to jog. Especially all the way to KLCC. Maybe it is because of the 2 McDonalds meals I had this week. Need to be fit and healthy to build greater antibodi to fight A H1N1.

Our mission is to make reduce that part. The meatloaf. If we can't eat it, then we just have to throw it away.

Christian joined us too. Don't pretend lah..

* Sweats*

Resting and drying up

Lets do it again next weekend. Who wanna be part of it? Hmmm.. too early to make any promises. We will see how.

In order to recharge our energy, we went to Nasi Kandar Pelita to have our breakfast.

What else:

Thank you Heng Fai for the wonderful and contented dinner at Pasta Zanmai yesterday. Really appreciate it. I know you're reading this. Just want to say that you have the potential to argue with me on a point and make me agree with what you said in the end. I hate you for that but I am glad to have a friend with skyhigh pride like you. Choose your birthday present wisely ya..No turning back. And Happy 21st Birthday.

Cheers.

Thank You Mei Ling and Hitz.fm

I may not be lucky enough to win any prizes or cash but I am glad that my good friend, Mei Ling is. This is the luckiest girl I have ever seen. Trust me on this. Happy-go-lucky suits her the best. Well, Mei Ling won RM5000 from Hitz.fm Says Its You and thanks to that, we get free dinner at Bubba Gump, The Curve. I don't know why I get a lot of free treats lately. I guess that is my bits of luck. *smile*

So, to cut the long story short. On Wednesday:
  • I met up with Cherry outside college library and went back home together. I miss having her in my room. (hmm..sounds so lesbo)
  • Cherry and I went to Telawi Street to meet Led
  • Mei Ling called and shouted at me thru the phone. " Stupid!!! Why the hell are you still chilling at Nirwana?" Can't blame her, Suet Ling, Lew, Su Wen and herself were already at The Curve.
  • Reached Bubba Gump. We just pointed at any food that have nice pictures in the menu.
Without fail, we had photo taking session
  • Makan-makan. Lots and lotsa shrimps
  • Photos taking again
  • Then we heard footsteps. All the waiters came up with a brownies. "It's for Cherry!!". A belated birthday surprise.

Bubba Gump is a restaurant with Forrest Gump Theme.

All in blue. What a coincidence

Thanks a lot Ling.. Love you even more now.

Everyone is here. Perfect.

Klang Tycoon's Home Visit

Listening to Bitterheart, Zee Avi
Before our lives fall into misery for the coming weeks, we decided to have fun first, think later. Jerry and Shirleen invited us to Jerry's house at Klang. Which is totally cool because we seldom go there. I kinda agreed to go at the very last minute. The reason is simple, I don't really have opportunity to spend time with them like this all the time. SO, grab it.

Okay, we went to Pasar Seni and took a bus directly to Klang. The journey was fun though it was a little bouncy..

45 minutes of bus ride. 45 minutes of non-silence. I think we were the loudest group in the bus.

Yeah!!! We can finally stretch our asses..Welcome to Klang. Introducing the participants: from left, Victor, Shirleen, Shih Mei and Jerry. Oh, our Vivien couldn't come for certain reason.

Four of us come from different parts of Malaysia. Jerry's parents arrived soon to pick us up.

Mr. and Mrs. Long, our generous host and hostess. Hmm, thanks for your hospitality.I will help you to look out for JERRY..huhuhuhu..

Waiting for our dinner.

Fighting with the crab. Jerry's expression is really priceless. hahah

So, how's Klang's seafood compared to Sandakan's seafood?

After dinner, time to open table. Lets start the game baby!!

Stressed

The next day:

Very nice of Jerry's dad to buy these cute masks for them. For pre-caution

Camwhoring session before lunch

Erm....I don't want to wear this alone

Now is better

Enough of eating, chit chating, camwhoring and gambling. Time to put the books right under our nose.
Cheers.

Lost and found

Now listening to 21 Guns, Green Day and Where Does the Good Go, Tegan & Sara

Highlight of today is not about Mr. Chee's pleasant mood in Strategic Planning Management tutorial, it is not about having lunch at Ipoh Road Yong Tau Foo in Genting Klang, it is not about how clueless I am in moral dan etika subject and it is also not about how much I miss a guy I like.

It is all about meeting up Leong/Sherryn/Shiue Yee after my typical Tuesday routine. The last time I saw Leong was at Wern Hwei's 21st birthday, around January.

Yeap, those who know our story might think that this is very bizarre. Leong is not part of the MGS girls gang anymore right? How did Keng Li came out with this idea? Well, people, this meet up is not a mistake, I sincerely want to retrieve what I 've lost, my friend. And I am not faking it like Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie thing okay.

Come to think of it again, Leong is my first friend in MGS on the first day of school. I introduced myself to her as Keng Li and that was the first time I use my given name. (Before that, my primary school friends called me by Lim because they thought that was my name but it was actually my surname.) Ever since, we hang out together.

Honestly, I have a love/hate relationship with this girl.

I hate her:
For the endless insults and criticises I get from her about my dressing, my hair, my face, my attitude, my stupidity, my way of doing things, and etc.. For making me cry. For bitching about me behind my back. For hurting my feelings like nobody's business.

However, I love her:
For pointing out my flaws. For listening to my cry and problems. For giving me mix advices when i need them. For forgiving me everytime I did something wrong. For being my best competitor. For being there with me when I feel my family have abandoned me. For being my friend since we were thirteen. And for countless helps and cares she gave.

Love her or hate her, we are still gonna be friends. It was as if we were immune to all the fights we have. By the end of the day, we laugh, talk and tease each other like usual.

Lets forget everything and move on. Okay? We are turning 21 and this is the time to act mature.

Anyway, we have drinks and dinner for hours together today. What we talk about is usually within the same old topics. Friends, work, relationship, family, current life, plans and money. Leong and I always discuss about serious grown up things rather than rubbish talks.

I am just glad that we planned this meet up. Things can still be the same between us.

As much as I want to write a long heartwarming essay here, I don't think I can do it anymore. I am too tired mentally and pshysically. Okay, lets just end here.

Cheers

My dinner, a treat from Leong. Thanks

SMS
Received >>>Shih Mei [09:51 am]: Hey, any plan for today?
Sent>>>Me [10.08am]: No plan, no date..haha..Kino? (It means the Book Club coffee place above Kinokuniya, KLCC)

Received>>>Shih Mei [10.12am]: No, I m going to mv.. Later meet my bro..Wanna join?

Anna said......OKAY

That is how I start my Saturday morning.
Met up with Shih Mei around 11.30 am..The first thing we did was went into every shoes shop to hunt for sandals and slippers. But we didn't buy anything... Haha..Shih Mei was disappointed but I was so proud of myself (it's all about self-control)

We had Subway Sandwich for lunch....yum yum.. I have to admit that Subway is my favourite. I think they are the healthiest fast food served compared to McDonalds, KFC, Burger King and etc. Strongly recommended.

Anyway, while eating, we do what we always do. Exchange updates, news, stories, opinions. Basically, just talk. I told her I feel so left out in college since Shih Mei, Chiew Hwa, Vivien. Jerry and Shirleen are in the same group for almost all assignments. They spend most of their time TOGETHER. And as for me, I was ISOLATED to join other friends. Don't worry, I survived!!! Nothing to complain about..hehehe

These 5 special people are my closest friends in college. We have gone thick and thin together for the past 3 years. Eat, laugh, sing, sleep, I just hate facing the fact that I wouldn't be part of them anymore. Not only now but also in the near future. They will go UK and have Europe trip together, taking photo without me in it. Stop!!! this is getting f-ing emotional. Back to my pleasant Saturday outing.

So, Mei and I chatted for almost 2 hours. She do the most talking and I just listen patiently..hehe

Here is Shih Mei.. yadi yadi yada.. Complimented with interesting expressions

I listen well. Don't want to miss a thing

2 hours later, we decided to read and study. Exam is just around the corner which is next month.. Dreadful.......

Just pretending for illustration purpose

Everyone has to read 5 People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. At least once before you die.

But that didn't last longer than 30 minutes.. We start snapping pictures after that..

Snap # 2

Snap #3. i love to fold things out of receipts

Shih Mei's little brother called and asked us to watch GI Joe in KLCC.

The siblings are really tall. I am an ant next to them

Last picture together before we head home and call it a day

Let's go home

Oh, before I end this, I have to thank Shih Mei that paid for my drinks and the taxi fare. She wouldn't accept a single cent from me which made me feel extremely bad. All I can do is to publicise her good deeds. Hahaha..Thanks darling, from the bottom of my heart.

Cheers
